Raven bit her lip nervously, fazing through the floor as not to be seen by the Titans left in the tower. They would most likely ask about her odd choice of clothing, it wasn't that it was uncharacteristic of her it was just a little more dressed up than she usually would be. She was wearing a purple off the shoulder long sleeved shirt. She was wearing a pair of skintight, black jeans. All in all it was a pretty usual outfit. You know despite the black patent leather peep toe heels that were about an inch above her norm. It was really the fact that she was actually wearing jewelry that gave her away. She vehemently refused to wear any sorts of jewelry, claiming it took too much time to switch from her clothes to her costume if she did. Now, she was wearing a black velvet choker necklace with a teardrop made of opal.
It was the only expensive piece of jewelry she owned. She got it a very very long time ago, the gem that was, it was a family heirloom and she got it before she left Azarath. She set it on the necklace because she felt that it did it more justice, rather than to hide it away in a pocket or something. She never really wore it though, due to her lack of occasions to do so.
She made it to the coffee house in record time, careful to be above cloud level when flying in her street clothes. She landed in an alley to not draw attention to herself. When she walked into the small shop, she did not see him yet. So she grabbed a drink menu and sat down at a small table in the back corner of the shop, hoping she did not get stood up, or this wasn't some prank or joke that was being pulled at her expense.

Seth was also trying to sneak out the house, this was his first meeting with a girl outside of school. Ever. Last thing he wanted was his parents asking questions about who she was and all about her. Truth be told he knew nothing about Rachel, other than she was about his age and was insanely cute. Well there was also her maturity and level headiness that he had picked up on during their few meetings but it had always been with someone else around and that was never a good way to get to know anything.
Slipping out the back door Seth grinned and hopped over the fence, mission accomplished. As he made his way to the coffee shop Seth pondered how this might go which led him to the conclusion he was surprised Rachel had agreed to meet at all though he was thankful. Was rare that he met a girl that caught his interest more than anyone else. Perhaps it was the dark mystery that seemed to come off of the female in waves or perhaps it was meeting another goth like himself. Seth wasn't really sure but this wasn't a date. Well it was in that they were meeting in a public place to talk and it had been arranged. Also the fact he was attracted to her and was pretty sure she liked him at least physically.
Stepping inside the teen looked about the coffee house and frowned a little not seeing Raven yet, he really hoped she wasn't going to be mean and not show up or worse perhaps bring some guy with her or maybe Kori and point and laugh. The male had heard the stories about cheerleaders doing crap like that.
Sitting at a table near the back Seth sat for a few minutes looking about as the time ticked on and his paranoia became a bit worse. It was then he caught movement out the corner of his eye, something moving behind him. Turning to get a better look Seth spotted the purple haired girl, seemed she had entered and not seen him either. Wonder if she is nervous too Seth mused to himself as he got up and walked over.
"Rachel, hey" Seth smiled "Seems we missed each other coming in." Shifting his attention quickly to the counter to check on the queue he turned back to the girl "Was starting to worry you weren't going to show up. What would you like to drink?"

At first she did not respond to the name 'Rachel' it didn't faze her that here, she wasn't Raven she was just Rachel. Then she recognized the voice and she looked up. It dawned on her that she was the 'Rachel' he was talking about. She moved over to where he was, realizing that she must have missed him when she came into the place.
That was...odd. She had scanned the room as soon as she came in, taking note of the windows and exits in proximity to the cash register. Being a hero in a city like this you learned that it didn't matter if the place was a pizza place, a bank, a coffee house, a museum or a movie rentals store it could be broken into or robbed or something.
All it took was someone, possibly control freak, on a coffee binge who didn't want to pay for it to reap havoc on the place. Unfortunately with all of that searching she still managed to completely miss the boy. She smiled, ever so slightly, at the boy. His own smile being kind-of contagious. It wasn't something she did often, but it was a good feeling.
"I have no idea. I've never been to a place like this before." She admitted. Sure, it was weird, but she honestly had no clue what to get. She knew what the drinks were, as far as their contents, but having never actually had a drink of coffee in her life it was a bit off a mystery to her. Then she saw it. Her saving grace. She knew she did not really need the extra caffeine and sugar to string her out, but when she saw they actually had tea here she was saved. Tea she knew.
"You know what, I think a blended green tea would be good." She corrected herself smiling again. Twice in a row, this time the smile was more out of nervousness then genuine happiness. The drink consisted of ice, cold cream, tea and whipped topping and despite being a thousand times worse for her than plain tea it actually sounded quite good. "What about you?" She asked curiously.
"That would be rude, and counterproductive. If I was planning to not show up I would have just shot you down in the first place. I'm not one to skirt around the issue." She said. It was the truth. She very rarely cared about anyone's feelings that were not hers or her very closest friend's and didn't like to lie, even if it was to spare someone's feelings. She could blatantly not tell someone, but she wouldn't flat out lie to them.

It was odd for Seth to see her go through so many emotions at once. First confused, then a smile, then what could only be described as slight panic then a smile and finally a complete turn around to cold logic. Rachel was certainly going to be a tough nut to crack. Not that he knew it but due to his origins the teen was very good at reading people. Combat was not only about skill but about reading your opponents body language and adjusting. Not having access to his full ability Seth was left with just the ability to notice little things most people might miss.
"Well if it counts for anything its my first time here?" The boy smiled yet again, something about looking at the purple headed girl made him smile, no doubt some sort of hormonal response.
With a nod at her selection he nodded "Blended green tea it is then, never tried that before." Course if Raven had never been somewhere like this then chances are either had she "I'm sure it'll be nice though." With a soft nod he glanced at the menu board again, not that he had too since he already knew what he wanted. Something with enough caffeine to send most people on a rush lasting for hours.
At her last comment Seth paused completely, it was kinda harsh how she had said it. Sort of cold and just sheer logic but as it filtered through his brain he couldn't help but admire the honesty, it drove him insane trying to decide if people were lying because they wanted too or just through habit but the amount of times they did it was almost too much to count. "I appreciate the honesty, I'll do the same. So much easier to just tell the truth than lie."
Now that his brain had processed everything she had said and done in the last minute or so Seth realized that he hadn't answered her "Sorry, you asked what I was going to have. I always have the same thing. Mocha with two shots of espresso. For some reason I don't seem to notice caffeine much so lots of it means I get a little. No idea if that makes sense? I've got to confess I'm kinda nervous. I've never really......you know...." how did he express this right and not sound like a moron? "I've never met a beautiful girl for coffee before, or for anything I should add. Really worried I'm going to just talk too much or too little.......kinda like I'm doing now. Drinks!" Seth grinned playfully "Let me go save myself by getting those. I'll be right back." With a nod the teen walked off to the queue, filling in behind the three other people. It wouldn't take long to get served at all. Though Seth wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing, he had the feeling he was blowing this and badly. Rachel seemed the type that wanted interesting talks and deep meaningful conversations and here he was yammering about how he'd never dated before. Cause nothing said confident and cool like a guy who'd never dated anyone before and then jabbered about it.
Giving their order Seth moved along the line to the pick up point at the end, he couldn't help glancing back at the girl though. It was then that he began to take in parts of her clothes and appearance. She had made an effort, like him she must have been wanting this to go well. So perhaps it wasn't a total loss after all. Maybe she was as nervous as him about it all. She'd never been for coffee, surely that would be a place she would go on a date? Walking back with the drinks Seth smiled and motioned to the table before putting the drinks down and sitting "I've been really rude, totally forgot my manners. How are you? I really should have asked that before I asked about the drink. Forgive me?"

Raven was taken aback by how much caffiene the kid was going to consume. A mocha was already 1/3 espresso, right? She wondered absentmindedly, flipping through the pamphlet of drinks again. It confirmed her thoughts that, that was much more caffiene than any human being should consume at any given moment. She didn't say anything about it, considering he did say he had a high tolerance for caffeine. She was on the opposite end of the spectrum. If she drank that she'd probably start shaking.
"Lying, in my experience, turns out to cause lots of unneccessary trouble." She said, shrugging. She had seen what a simple lie could do to their team. Terra showed them that, and she had to admit she had told the other Titans lies, or at least avoided subjects, in the past. It always made things messy. She tended to try and avoid messy. Besides, what was the point in lying to someone she didn't even know. She could care less what anyone other than her immediate friendbase. It did not make sense to her, but she didn't need to be thinking it over this thouroughly.
She blushed bright pink when he called her beautiful. She caught it despite his rabling. It was something that she would never get used to. The last person she remembered telling her that was Malchior. He turned out to be an evil dragon, who had been using her and teaching her dark magic. It was enough to make her nervous and a little wary of the boy. Starfire, she was beautiful but she and Startfire were opposites of eachother. Sure, beauty is in the eye of the beholder but she did not put a lot of merit into quotes made to make people feel better.
"You're not the only one who's nervous." She told him, reassuingly before he went to go get the drinks. She would have paid for her own, though she knew it was customary for the male to buy in this dimension on dates. But...this wasn't a date... was it?
"I'm fine, thank you. Really, three of my best friends are guys. At this point in my life, minor slips of manners are not my biggest concern." She told him, biting her lip nervously as she spoke. She needed to stop with the mood swings already or things were going to start to get terribly terribly hard to explain. It was a little hard to do, and if this was before her fiasco with Trigon, she probably would have inadvertantly blown up half of the coffee shop by now with all of the emotions going through her.
"You have nothing to worry about." She said, attempting to reassure the nervous boy. She knew she was probably wretched at it. She had never been the comforting type of people. She tried her best in some situations but it tended to turn out extremely awkward.

"Nothing to worry about huh?" Seth smiled "Not sure if that was supposed to be for you or me but thanks. " Getting settled into his seat the boy took a sip from his cup and let out a small sigh of contentment with a soft smile he turned his attention back to Rachel. It was hard not to notice that every time he mentioned her appearance she blush but her eyes went a little colder as if it was a sore spot or bad memory perhaps? There was so much about the girl that he wanted to know, like it was a mystery wrapped up in a beautiful girl. "This would be so much easier if we could mind read huh?" The boy grinned and put his cup down onto the table "You know that way you want to know about the other person and in your mind you have all the questions you want to ask but when it gets to saying them you worry its going to sound silly?"
Swirling the wooden stick around the foam for a few seconds as he let his thoughts settle into a proper train of thought Seth nodded a little "I don't really know much about you other than you like to read and are friends with Kori. I know your probably the most beautiful person I have ever seen." Seth made sure he had the girls eye line when said that, he was being honest and completely. Sure Starfire was attractive and so were a lot of the other girls in the school but that was purely physical and it didn't take Seth long to work them out or get bored of the fawning or constant talk about random nonsense. With Rachel however it was like he could only see the surface and that just made him want to know her more, to find out what she was hiding and why.
"You have the cutest blush but unlike every other girl I've met you don't get giggly and weird. You do get a look in your eye that suggest you think I'm trying to feed you a line. Which is fine, I just hope you give me the chance to show you that your wrong." Taking a small sip of his drink before he continued Seth shrugged lightly "I wanted to meet you to find out more about you, to find out if there was more to you than just a pretty face. Also kinda hoping you wanted to know more about me. So before I say anything else silly how about we work on finding out more about each other?"
Giving the foam another swirl he smiled and looked up at her "Not saying we're going to end up a couple but I'd at least like us to be friends. Guess I'll start, well my full name is Seth Greystone. Um, my parents are scientists for a lab in town which is why we moved here." With another drink to wet his lips Seth continued "Most of my hobbies are to do with music, I like to dance about and sing now and again. Purely in front of the mirror, doubt I have the guts to do anything in front of an audience. Always wanted to learn a martial art but my folks are dead against it. They don't want me to learn to hurt people I guess. So what about your parents and hobbies?"

She was very very very glad he was not a telepath, in fact, She's already slipped up so many times she didn't need anyone rifling around in her head for information, but she could see his point. Telepaths were'nt exactly normal but they weren't exactly uncommon either. There were plenty of relatively well-known heroes with that, or a similiar power so she wasn't sure if he was being serious or if he was just joking around.
She sighed when he mentioned the look in her eyes. She had hoped that she was good enough at covering that up but apparently not. If she couldn't even hide her emotions from a kid, and complete stranger, she was sure the other Titans would sense her odd mood and ask about it. She still wasn't quite sure if they could trust the kid, there were things that seemed suspicious. She chalked that down to being suspicious of anyone who took an interest in her so she didn't think much of it but she didn't want to be interrogated about what she had been up to later. She didn't think she could lie to her friends.
"People don't exactly take an interest in me all that often. I mean, why would they when you put me next to people like Kori or Terra." She started. Both of them were outgoing and pretty girls. She knew she did not hold a candle to them, and many of the other girls in the Titans. "The only guy to really ever take an interest in me in such a way before was just using me to hurt me, and my friends." She explained. She was just means to an end to the dragon and that was not a place that she was ever going back to.
When Seth started talking about his life she was screwed. She did not like lying, but really what else was she going to do. She couldn't exactly tell him the truth, but she couldn't avoid his questions either. She wished life could be easier and they didn't need to hide, but she was a hero and she didn't really care who knew her identity because it was basically forged anyways but if they knew who she was, they could assume who someone like Beast Boy and Robin were which could blow the cover of Batman and the Doom Patrol. That was something she was unwilling to let happen.
"Umm, I'm Rachel Roth. My parents are divorced. Like, REALLY divorced. They won't even be on the same side of the world as eachother divorced." She explained, and by side of the world she meant dimension and by divorced she meant seperated because she didn't think they were actually married to begin with. "My father is a criminal and my mother doesn't like me much, so I don't live with either of them. I'm emancipated." She added. "I can speak, read and write in six languages. I know some martial arts, but I am by no means an expert. I read, a lot, and I occassionally let myself get my ass kicked at video games with Victor and Garfield, and Kori likes to drag me to the mall, and I spend more time working out than any teenage girl should." She told him, by 'working out' she really meant fighitng crime but she couldn't tell him that. There were so many things about her past that she needed to alter to try to get to know somone. She felt bad for lying to the kid, but what other choice did she have.

"Sounds like you've had things pretty hard" Seth said slowly, he had no idea what it would be like to have parents that hated each other so much that they couldn't even exist on the same side of the world as each other and that also meant that Rachel was living alone or perhaps with her friends?
"Ok, color me impressed. Six languages? I sometimes wonder if I can even manage just the one. Add to that working out and martial arts. Reading, play video games and find the time to go shopping. Something tells me that even that is still just scratching the surface." Seth smiled, he had so many questions now but didn't want to start blurting out things. Stuff like how she learned different languages, why did she do it and which ones were they? Instead he decided to focus on something else.
"The guy, the one you mentioned, sounds like a moron. Though from what I hear lots of guys and girls as well are quite self centered in that way. I know you have no reason to believe me but I'm not out to use you or have any hidden agendas other than wanting to know about Rachel." With a smile he moved his hand to go to touch hers but stopped just short, contact was probably a bit forward and Seth himself wasn't even sure why he was about to do that. "You know its still weird you call Kori Starfire, don't think I have met a Terra? Is that another nickname?" Seth shrugged and smiled "You shouldn't put yourself down so much you know, sure Kori is pretty but once you meet her, not to be rude but shes sort of easy to read once you've met her. Shes just blam 'I'm me and hug'. You on the other hand. No matter what anyone says your extremely beautiful but its not just that. I mean when you walked into that classroom my jaw hit the floor. Though thats not why I wanted to meet you for coffee, its the fact that there seems to be so much to you. Like we could talk for weeks and I still would only know a tiny fraction of who you are. You can call me weird but thats extremely attractive to me." Seth shrugged with a grin "I'm probably saying way too much but I did promise to be honest. Should I lean over so you can slap me now or should I expect it a little later on?"

His curiousity showed through his facial expression. He wasn't too easy to read but he also wasn't the most difficult person either. "I took an interest in the occult at a young age. While my mom tended to avoid me at all costs she was sort of...well off. I had a tutor around whenever I wanted. Most of the books that are at all accurate are written in different languages. My first language is english, obviously, I also know German, Latin, Romanian, Ancient Sumerian and Sanskirt." She told him.
After the boy gave his little speach she heard glass cracking behind him. The eery black glow surrounded a few of the lightbulbs as they burst. As soon as the glass broke, however, the black glow dissapeared and the shards rained onto the floor underneath. She was glad no one had been sitting there at least. She flinched when it happened. Really now? She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself a little bit. This is what you get, she totally jinxed herself by thinking about it earlier. This date, or not date, or whatever wasn't going nearly as smoothly as she would have hoped. In an ideal world she wouldn't need to lie to this kid, she would be completely comfortable and things definitely would not blow up. Unfortunately this world was far from ideal.
"You probably have not met her yet. She's blonde haired and blue eyed and I don't think she likes me very much but...I consider her a friend." She said shrugging. "As for Kori, there's a lot more depth to her than she lets on. Sometimes I wonder how much of her cheerfully oblivious act is, well just that and act, and how much of it is real. I'm not saying she's not being genuine but I think sometimes she hides her displeasure with things as not to hurt our feelings. She like bringing happiness to her friends, and her past hasn't been the easiest either." She explained, sort of avoiding the whole point of his little confession, but she felt like she needed to defend Starfire. She knew that he was not trying to offend or demean her or her friend, but she had come to think of Starfire as family and no one messed with her little surrogate family.
"That's very flattering. Thank you." she said shortly. "I won't hit you. I don't tend to react violently to things." She said. At least, not on purpose. There were plenty of times where that had not been the case. Blowing up breakfast in Beast Boy's face. Mentally damaging Dr. Light. There were more times, she was sure, but she hadn't exactly meant to do any of those things.

When the light bulb popped Seth looked behind him with wide eyes "That was a bit close for comfort. Probably a short circuit or something, lets hope it doesn't spread I don't need any help ruining this" Turning back to Raven he smiled "So you believe in magic and things like that?" The teens tone was skeptical, after all his parents were scientist and magic to him was pulling rabbits out a hat. "Its not really something I've given much thought too but I guess theres been a lot of stuff researched into it. Must have interested you a lot to learn all those languages to read about it properly."
Seth couldn't help but feel like he'd hit a nerve with the Kori thing "I didn't mean to sound like I was saying Kori isn't a deep person, just that shes not the sort of person I find myself attracted too. Shes something special though, one of those people that makes everyone smile. Would be bad if she didn't feel she could express herself totally though. Come to think of it she did seem pretty unhappy in that cooking class, though her mood was reversed when you walked in. Maybe she just doesn't like to dwell on things bothering her. Not sure I could do that myself."
Smirking he nodded "It was a joke, I wasn't expecting you to slap me. Something tells me you'd just ignore me if I bothered you. Kori would probably come shout at me for making you unhappy though. Since I really want to know I have to ask why you agreed to meet me for coffee. You've already hinted that you don't really trust guys much, so how come your here?" Finishing off his drink the teen shuffled to get comfy in his chair again after moving to see the broken lights which the staff were now clearing up behind him. "You don't have to answer, that might be an unfair thing to ask of you now that I think about it." Taking a pen from his jacket pocket he wrote on it and the slid it across to the female. On it read 'Free change of subject' Seth smiled "How about if I ask something you don't want to answer you use that and we change the subject to whatever you like?"

"There are a lot of things about this world that we aren't meant to understand. Just look at some of the villians, or heroes, plaguing this town and places like Gotham or Metropolis. Many of them use different forms of magic. Of course, not everyone can do it. It's not something you pick up one day and can teach yourself. I'm interested in it mostly in a scholarly sense." She said shrugging. It was a lie. A straight out honest to goodness lie and it felt like acid on her tongue. She had to admit someting that was such an integral part of her personality was just an intelectual interest rather than an extension of her person, or a part of who she was. This fact weighed on her like a ton of bricks.
She could never be with someone like this kid. She couldn't take the chance of letting him into her secret, and she couldn't lie to someone she claimed ot care about, about something as key to her personality as her abilities. She was the daughter of a demon, no one wanted devil spawn. If people knew the truth about her lineage, about Raven's lineage, she knew she would be cast out of Jump. No matter how many of her friends tried to protect her.
"I don't like to judge people based on assumptions I have that they have nothing to do with creating." She told him, attempting to shake off the sick feeling she now had in her stomach. All it took was that one little lie to make the happy dillusion she made for herself to fall around her feet. "I'm not one for sharing details about my life experiences. There are some things that are better to not relive, but with a few exceptions, I am usually ok with skimming over the basics of my reasoning." She said shrugging, but was fond of the small gesture he made with the paper. It was cute, and actually quite caring. There were definitely questions the boy could ask that would make her want to use the slip of paper.

Bam, just like that she lied. Seth could tell it was hard for her to do, the look in her eye was pretty obvious but instead of feeling annoyed by it the teen felt bad for having put her in the position that she felt that she had to lie. Perhaps she was a pagan or something and magic was something important to her, but didn't want to be hassled at school for it. That would make sense, religion was one of those odd things.
"Hey, you can share whatever you want to share. If I pry too much you have the napkin to change the subject. I understand not wanting to tell everything, from the little you've said your life sounds really complicated. Can I add though that if you do decide you want to talk about it, I'm happy to listen?" Seth smiled and motion to her as yet untouched cup "How is the tea?"
Looking behind him again at the staff cleaning up the lights Seth entertained the thought of magic having caused it to happen but just couldn't accept that it was possible. A surge had caused the light to expand past its crisis point and it had popped. That was logical, normal and fitted in his world view just fine. Turning his attention back to Raven he smiled again, seemed every time he looked at her that happened. "Thats a really interesting gem stone" Seth gestured to the necklace Rachel was wearing "what sort of stone is it?"

Raven sighed, realizing she hadn't even taken a sip of the tea. She picked it up and took a sip of the drink. It was good, though she knew it was full of unneccessary sugar and calories. She could see why people came to these places though. It was a good treat, but she still didn't get the people who had them all the time. "It's surprisingly very good." She answered. She wasn't ignoring the beginnining of that statement. She just didn't know how to answer. She barely talked about these things with the people that she held closest, she wasn't about to spill her feelings to some kid she just met. Maybe eventually, but definitely not any time soon.
"It's just an opal." She said with a laugh. "It was a family heirloom, I got it from my mom before I left her care." She added with a shrug. Opals were her favorite stone to begin with. She had been trying to get her hands on a black opal for spellwork for ages, but black opals were a little more rare than the common white variety.
She sighed, calming herself a little. She didn't need to blow up any more of the lighting fixtures. She felt bad about it, though she couldn't exactly apologize for it because she was here under her other name. She just hoped no one would be able to put two and two together. She was screwing up left and right. She really needed to keep her guard up, and keep herself under control. She had assumed it would be anyone else other than her getting them caught, but she was not good at this secret identity thing. She knew some of the others had already been in that situation. It made her uncomfortable at best.

"Family passed it down?" Seth smiled softly "If I'm lucky the best I can hope for is some glass beakers and a microscope. Though knowing my parents they will give all their equipment to a university or something." Considering how much trouble Raven was having with her lying or concealing of things Seth currently didn't have an issue. Everything he said was what he believed, just a shame it was all fake. If he knew the truth then he would have known his so called parents would most likely shut the project down before they had to consider their own deaths.
"Glad you like the tea, have to say I've never really tried tea before. Just coffee" with that said he finished off his cup and looked back at the counter, should he get another one? Turning to look at the goth girl again he smiled softly "I kinda killed the conversation didn't I? How about we don't talk so much about ourselves and maybe something else. How are you finding the school so far? If I'm being totally honest I'm a little disappointed in it but that might be me being biased towards...uh...Metropolis.... my old school." Seth stopped as he went to say its name but for some reason it was escaping him and to top all it off he could feel a headache starting "uh sorry, headache starting. Excuse me a second, really sorry about this." Getting out his seat rather hurriedly the teen went and bought a bottle of water and then came back to his seat, rifling through his jackets pockets he tugged out the pill bottle and threw two down the back of his throat followed by a drink of water. Once he was sitting down again he let out a soft sigh as the pain started fading quickly "Where was I? Oh yeah Metropolis High, I really liked it there." Seth smiled though due to his medication his eyes had glassed over a little and his pupils had gone wide.

Mind readng was, in her opinion, an invasion of privacy and quie frankly wrong. She only did it when abolutely neccessary. Of course, as soon as his eyes glazed over from the medication he was taking along with the dilation of his pupils, she became curious. Very, very curious. Sh wouldn't do it of course. There were plenty of conditions that people were unwilling to share with the world, and therefore they hide from other people. She knew what it was like to have people rumaging through her mind when she did not want them there. She also knew that his kid was not a hero. He did not know of her powers and that would make it a double invasion of privacy and that was something she definitely would not do. Still, she had the itching feeling in the back of her head like she was missing some information about this boy. Things in Jump City were never as they seemed.
"The conversation is fine. I like the school as much as a teenager can like school. Needless to say I find that there are many things I could do with my time that would be more productive. Most of my classes are a few eons below where I am." She said, attepting to be pleasant despite her suspicions. She really did like this guy, at least tht is, if he was legit. She didn't want to ruin it because of a feeling that my or may not be anything.
"Are you sure you're alright" She asked. She was honestly concerned for the boy. She suddenly wished she could pull her communicator out right now. She'd probably be looking him up in the Metropolis school district's system. Though if he was a villian she was sure they would have the forsight to forge their name into the Metropolis records. "So why did your family move here, if you don't mind me asking." She asked, she was geniuinly curious about it, but she also was using it to keep the convorsation movig foreward. She had never been the best at communicating, shewould rather hide away in her room, but she wasn't completely socially inept. Or at least she hopd she wasn't.
