Death was not something she was quite comfortable with. Even though it was something so demented and man-made she still winced at the snapping of it's neck. She was not one for killing, but there was really no other way at this point. She was glad when the body dissapated. She did not want to have to look at the dead being within the mind of this boy.
"I'm guessing these are not the types of locks one can pick?" She asked, trying to remember if she saw the key when she was in her soul form. The thing probably wanted a backup in case he died. If this were her own mind she would be able to find it without any trouble. She had years of practice opening every nook and cranny of her mind to herself. Lot of people had things within their own mind hidden from them. She looked back to where she was the thing run from. He couldn't have moved a lot from the spot previous to running or they surely would have seen the thing.
"Do you know what it's key looked like?" She asked, size, shape and color would make her time finding it so much easier. She didn't think she could pull herself out of her body again today. She just did not have the strength to do so. Needless to say when this was all said and done she would be needing to take a nap.

"Not a clue" Seven said moving back to one of the doors that were chained up and ran his fingers across the large padlock that sat at the center "I think I'm behind these doors, the proper bits that make up me. With Section gone I'm feeling stronger already. With these other doors opened I think I'd be almost complete." No doubt that wasn't something the purple headed girl wanted to hear, she didn't seem to agree with what he was created to do.
"I think we should open the rest of the doors, leave the real memories and start off blank. It would be so much easier for me to exist with him if his thoughts weren't full of lies. We could finally play sports" Seven said almost wishfully "Do you have any idea what its like not being able to do the things you good at?"
Reaching back and clenching his fist Seven smashed it hard into the lock which exploded into bits and caused an effect similar to the earthquake before "Mind over matter works just fine it seems" with that said Seven began to open the previous sealed door.

"What are you going to do, when I get out of your head." She asked nervously. They were in her home. The only place she's ever had to actually call her home and with the people she considered family. She didn't want them to get hurt just because she made a stupid mistake and brought him to her house. She was now thinking she should have went to the abandoned warehouses or something. There were reasons they didn't really let civilians in their house. It was dangerous and you never knew who was actually just some punk kid and who was a villain waiting to strike.
Above all else, she needed to hear his answer, his honest answer, before she set any course of action. She didn't want to lock him away. Doing so would likely make him weaker if it came to a point that Seth got into a fight. She didn't want the boy to get hurt but they didn't have a babysitting service. Shuffling him from tower to tower was frankly not an option in a time of emergency. They never knew when someone like Trigon, or Slade, or Brother Blood was going to decide to make their lives hell for a while.
The next worry was where was he going to live. He lost his memories and his family and his home all in one day. She hoped Seth was doing OK in the maze. He got easier to sense as her emotions assembled around him, but she was still getting a mostly fuzzy sense of how he was doing. If they tested him, and trained him, he might be able to live in the tower, or in one of them at least.

"Its funny how you worry about the fake me" Seven said as the door finally opened, his combat training now unlocked. "You can see it in your body language and how you talk at times. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't slightly jealous." Moving to another of the locked doors he gave it the same treatment as the other, a solid punch and then swung open. Behind that door lay his stealth and assassination training "It wasn't him that wanted to go for coffee with you, you realize that don't you?" Seven said glancing over his shoulder before moving onto the next locked door "Section was programmed to keep him happy but docile, not anywhere near girls or anything that could bother his hormone levels. I wanted to know you better, I'm the one that thought you were beautiful and intelligent. I should really thank you for giving me the chance to exercise my will over my own body again." Another locked door opened and this time it was the training for espionage "You are right though, I need to keep Seth around. Without him I doubt I would be much more than a robot. As for what I am going to do once this is all over I'm really not sure. I'm not going to attack you or anything, your friends either. I don't see why I should, I was made to kill people like you but lets face facts. You have done more for me than my creators ever have. So I think what I would like to do is kiss you, that seems like a good first thing to do then maybe a drink. Physically my body wasn't prepped for this, its going to need energy."

"I'm glad it's not just half of you that likes me then." She said. She had to admit she was honestly glad for it. Not only did it mean he was actually interested in her, but also that this half of him had normal emotions and hormones. It mean he, like anyone else, could decide his own future rather than be controlled for the rest of his life if he so chose.
At his comment about his plans, a lock from a door he hadn't gotten to was surrounded by black and shattered into bits. At least it wasn't something important. She didn't need to render him brain dead while having a minor melt down in his mind. She didn't really know how to respond to something like that. Well, at least she knew she could effect the locks too. She started helping him open the ones he was working on to help.
"We'll need to speak to Robin then. I think we still have some open rooms in the tower." She said, glazing over the parts of his speech she didn't want to touch at the moment. She was keeping her mind busy, trying to process his words.
"Noo, you can never pick a normal boy can you." She grumbled quietly to herself, ranting. Of course she knew she was being silly, but she was a little frustrated with herself for not at least skimming his mind earlier. "Of course not. The next one had to top a dragon who wanted to kill you and your friends and take over the world." She was being a little unfair. She bit her lip and muttered an apology.

"You need to ask permission to be kissed?" Seven joked as he continued to the last door. He could hear her little rant, she was inside his mind after all and the corridor wasn't that wide "So I top an evil Dragon, lucky me. Is that the guy who stopped you trusting in people who aren't part of your family?"
Running his fingers along the door Seven stood there with his finger tips just lightly touching the large lock. He could feel what was behind this door, it would allow him to abandon his morality and kill. The clone already had enough rage of his own without the door letting him step over the line being unlocked as well "This one, stays shut. Consider it a sign of me wanting to change. This is the door that holds my killer instinct."
Stepping away Seven nodded "It should stay shut, I don't need it." Now a good few feet from the door he turned to face Raven "So anything else I should know or you want to ask?"

"You know very well that, that was not what I meant." She said, chuckling lightly. She nodded, avoiding the door. Hers came in the form of a rage filled red caped version of herself when it turned into her father. The other Titans didn't really know how messed up the demon parts of her were. She didn't know how Richard and the others could ignore it. After knowing what her father was they had to know what she could become. Demons were about murder and mayhem and that side of her had to be constantly suppressed. He had an easy way to do it. She was glad for that. He didn't need to constant struggle.
"I'm sorry it was rude of me. He was trapped in one of my books. He was trapped there by a wizard. He tricked me into believing that he was the wizard and got himself trapped in there with the dragon. He taught me black magic and I could have hurt a lot of people using it. Eventually I let him out of the book and learned what he really was. I've never felt like such a fool before or after. I managed to lock him back into the book and put it in my room so no one could make the same mistake." She explained. It was only fair she figured.
"I'm half demon. I can't really think of any other things that you need to know but I still don't have perfect control over my powers and they are highly linked to my emotions. And Seth talking to so many of them has me a little strung out. If you have any questions feel free to ask." She said.
"Are there any other doors that need to be opened?" She asked.

"I think we're done with doors for now "Seven said nodding as he looked up and down "There's some real memories I'd have liked to have destroyed but I'm worried the effect it might have if I did. There was a girl back at the labs,I used to watch her from inside my holding tube. She was pretty, blond and I always thought she was caring for me but now that I can think clearly again she was the one they used to do all sorts of tests, I guess they knew I trusted her." With a shrug Seven slid down a wall to sit "Not quite a dragon and wizard but I understand betrayal. Demon's aren't really something I'm familiar with but from what Seth has seen and heard I think I understand the concept."
Shifting a little to get comfy before he continued talking "Well from what I can recall I'm the only surviving Unit left from the initial group. Project Seven, they even were kind enough to imprint it onto my leg" He tapped the inside of his left thigh to show where "If you can be a good person then I don't see why I can't be. You can be my inspiration."

"The real memories are things you can't...aren't allowed to forget in this sense. The people we trust most have the easiest time hurting us. It's life, but you have to take those risks to find the people you can honestly trust. You get hurt and betrayed, but you eventually find the people who'll go to hell and back for you." In some ways more literally that others, she thought.
"From what I caught I think he knows them in a purely biblical sense. Certain types of demons have different dispositions, and like humans can choose their destiny. More often than not they choose the evil though, because it's hard to deny one's basic instincts. My father is an inter-dimensional demon and he's one of the more powerful ones out there. It had been my destiny to be his portal and destroy the world with him. I managed to save those closest to me, and Richard. He saved me from that. I had given up. The day after my sixteenth birthday was jarring. It hit me like a truck that I didn't die and I could do anything with my life." She explained, looking over at the outside walls of the maze. She shivered lightly it ran from her spine to her toes. It worried her.
"I kind of need to go absorb my emotions again. I think they've managed to gather themselves...all of them barring Rage at least. I need to get Rage out of here before she manages to gain enough power to cause a ruckus." She said, biting her lip nervously.

Seven watched her as she spoke of what her purpose was, it was clear how much it bothered her and when she turned to look over the maze she had put in his head he got up and stood behind her. Carefully and slowly in-case the purple haired girl wanted to move he slid his arms around her middle and looked out over the maze too.
"If you have to go you should." Seven said slightly disappointed, it was nice to talk to her finally as himself with nothing hidden. The teen had to wonder how she felt now that he knew what and who she was, though once things were out his head and back to normal he was sure that would be answered. "Thank you though, you took a big chance in helping me and I appreciate it, I've a lot to repay you for it seems."
Which was true, she had given him his first chance at effecting his own body, now she had given him back his freedom and trusted him with her own secrets "I'm sure this is a strain on you too, so lets get you out of here and more comfortable shall we?"

She hadn't been expecting him to put his arms around her. She stiffened up at first, but visibly relaxed moments later. She had never been an overly touch orientated person. She knew that is how people in relationships tended to act towards each other, but let's face it the last guy she dated was made of paper for most of their relationship. After that he was a huge dragon trying to kill her. At least she didn't make anything explode in his head. She was pretty sure that would not go over well at this point. As She grew more comfortable she placed her arms lightly over his.
"You have nothing to thank me for." She said. It was her duty, not to mention she was doing it not entirely out of unselfish reasons. At first it was to help a boy she cared about. Then to make sure he didn't hurt any of her family. She knew without them she would be nothing. Now it was a little of both.
"It's been a long day. Teleportation usually takes it out of me pretty badly, moreso when I have more than just me. Barriors. Mind travel. I'm just hoping it's a quiet night, and if it's not Titans East or something can handle it." She said, though not moving quite yet.

"I could deal with it" Seven said softly "once I have eaten, that way your friends would know I'm on their side. I wonder how they will take this, though from what I can tell only Kori knows I exist. I think its cute you think I'm potentially worse than a Dragon though. I promise I'm not out to hurt you. Now you have to believe me, your inside my head I'm sure you'd know if I was lying or not."
Looking down at the maze Seven wondered what he would be gaining from the merge with Seth properly, since they had experienced everything up until this together it couldn't be too much but still it would be an odd experience the clone was sure of it.
With her arms on his Seven actually felt at peace for once, thankfully not due to sedatives but this was more of a finding a place in the world. He had a new direction to take his life, one that was his choice and not his makers "Can I do anything to help you with this?"

"They wouldn't let you on the team that quickly. You'd at least need to go through one training session with Robin and the team and I watching. Terra and Batgirl did too. The rest of us sort of formed spontaneously out of necessity. Besides, other than a few armed robberies, Dr. Light today, and a few hits here and there. It's been bothering me. Something is up." She said with a shrug.
"I'll dissolve the guard, but I can't take down the walls. Not until all of my emotions are back in my own head. When I saw then enter with the Maze, I didn't want rage to get out and ruin anything in your head." She said, slipping carefully out of his hold, but lacing her fingers with his as she walked towards the maze.
"It depends. If rage is weak enough when we find her, it won't take much energy to absorb her. We might need to weaken her though. The time she took the form of Trigon it took all of my emotions, Beast Boy, and Cyborg and I to defeat her. Considering we don't see a giant, red, four eyed demon with antlers peaking above the walls of the maze. I think we aren't in too much trouble for now." She explained to him.

"Trigon would be your father?" Seven said walking along beside her, he felt slightly subdued with his hand entwined with hers. It was distracting but in a good way.
Thankfully his mind was processing the information he was getting quickly, the names and various other bits and pieces she was telling him was being processed and filed away as the boy did his best to make sense of what was going on and what he was getting himself into.
"I'm sure it will work out fine one way or the other. if I need to prove myself through training I will and Rage will be absorbed along with the others even if we have to beat it into her." The thought of hitting something that might look like Raven wasn't the most appealing of ideas but he had to be willing to do whatever it took to make things right, to prove that he could be a force for Good and no longer a danger to her or her friends.

"This is the guard." She said approaching the two stone figures. As she did, the two halves made themselves into one. Each side had four eyes, and a weapon. She sent her energy through it as it came at them. It crumbled easily. She didn't make it to withstand her energy. She couldn't do that for both the walls and the guards.
"Trigon would be my father. Needless to say you won't need to go through the awkward meeting the parents phase. Dad is gone for now. If we're lucky no one will try to ressurect him. My mom....she prefers if I don't bother her I think." she said with a shrug. She knew she reminded Arella of her father in too many ways. It wasn't something she liked but it was something she had to deal with.
"It's less proving yourself and more figuring out how you would be able to fight with the team. They shouldn't be too far off. Hear that?" She asked. There was a faint clattering and the sound of far off voices. The walls were thick though, so they probably weren't too far from them, in theory.
