What a brilliant bright sunny day. The birds were chirping, the kids were tweeting, and the green pterodactyl was flying. Yup, a very norma—a green pterodactyl? Wait a second, wasn’t that supposed to be extinct? How smart you are, dear reader! Yes, pterodactyls weren’t ever witnessed by a human being before. This is probably a very lucky sight. What’s that? You’re screaming too loud, I can’t really—you’re rich? Ah, how observant of you! You may have missed one thing, however. You’re currently in Jump: home to a certain green shapeshifter named Beas—you’re crying? Well, that’s all right. Now, where were we? Ah, yes! A green pterodactyl was flying. Well, needless to say, said green pterodactyl was really a boy in disguise. The flying dinosaur was one of his favorite animals to morph into, partly because of the “extinct” factor, partly because it could lift real heavy objects and partly because it could fly quite fast. In any other city, he might have had to be slightly more careful, but Jump was very used to its heroes by now. Things normal people—like you and I—would consider extraordinary wasn’t viewed as such here.
So you might ask what this pterodactyl—or Beast Boy, lets call him—was doing flying above the city. If that’s true, then you probably missed the piece of paper he held in his beak. Yes, it wasn’t just any ordinary piece of paper, it was the grocery list. The Titans had trusted him—him—to handle the groceries today and no way was he going to disappoint! This was his first time at the job. Most people would hate the chore, but food was incredibly important to the Titans. In fact, one could argue that it was valued above life itself. Therefore, handling the groceries was almost like an honor. Well, for Beast Boy, anyways. He’d been trying to get this job for three years now, but was continuously denied it thanks to Cyborg and his stupid anxiety [or so Beast Boy believed more likely, it was just him having some fun teasing the boy]. Really, would it kill him to eat tofu for once? At any case, the excitement he felt over finally getting the job was beyond what words could explain. This was incredible! It was just…OMGLIKESOCOOL! He was so excited, in fact, that he’d totally missed the coming of rain. It was only when it intensified to just bellow “cats and dogs” level that he was finally in the know.
A block to the store, he decided it was best to walk. Therefore, after landing on the sidewalk, he morphed into his human form and began wal—no-no, running. It started off as a walk, but his pace was quickly quickened. He was simply too eager to buy some food, man! If you looked closely enough, you may have witnessed a piece of paper leaving his clutches. If so, good for you! Because he sure didn’t. Not until he was by the store, anyways, and decided to check his list. Apparently, it wasn’t where he had last left it [in his hands]. “W—AHHHHH!!!” His eyes practically left their sockets as he flapped his hands like a bird, a loud high-pitched screech leaving his throat. “Why?”, you may ask. Well, as it turned out, his precious list had landed onto the street where a car was about to drive over. Yeah. Thankfully, a second after his scream, a gust of wind blew the paper to safety.
“Phew,” was said by Beast Boy at the sight of this, his entire body relaxing. This appeared to be quite useless, however, as, a second later, his eyes began bulging out followed by a high-pitched “DUDE!” as he raced over to the paper. Oh and by the way, the paper was now about to land in a very muddy puddle of water. NONONONONONONONONON!!! THIS WAS SO NOT HAPPENING! Cyborg was going to kill him, he would never be entrusted with such a supermegafoxyawesome job and—worse of all—he’ll still be the youngster of the team. He hated always being treated like a two year old. He wanted to prove to everyone that he was responsible enough to handle such a chore. Besides the whole “it’s food” thing, it was the biggest reason he wanted to do this. Now, he had failed. Again. Like when he was asked to take care of the volleyball until the next game, make sure the TV remote was put back , time Cyborg's training and practically everything else.
[OOC: xD sorry. I couldn’t think of anything better]

The day was still young and the weather was decent. It seemed like the perfect day to go for a stroll and collect her thoughts. It was something Terra really needed to do. Although she’d covered most of her issues earlier, some still lingered. Terra had spent the morning with Robin confessing just about everything her big mouth could confess. To be honest, she felt a little at ease about everything now. Worrying about getting kicked off the team for her past betrayals was no longer killing her inside. Robin had assured her that she would stay a Teen Titan unless she gave then a reason to let ger go. If they didn’t think she was pure at heart, they wouldn’t have asked her to re-join the team and leave the high school she was trying to start over at behind. They’d also managed to cover her other issue this morning. She’d finally told someone about her issues with her powers. Since Terra left the hard world of being a rock, her powers were all out of wack again thanks to her mixed emotions. She had to get her mind completely at ease again so she had a better chance of keeping the Earth from crumbling under the Titans’ feet the next time they had a battle they needed to win. Terra figured if she could take a walk, the fresh air would help un-cloud her mind. It really was a nice day out.
With that last thought, the rain started falling on her head. Just fantastic. How was she supposed to keep the stress away when the day changed it’s mind about the weather in a instant. Terra would have been mad, but she remembered she was trying to keep herself in a good mood like she used to be able to do at times like this. She wanted to go back to being her care-free self where she only had to worry about how she was going to keep her powers under control when she needed to. When she was like that, the Titans’ seemed to love her. Even though she lived with them again, she didn’t exactly feel like the Titans’ were her actual friends anymore. She had a lonely feeling every time she came home. But not today! Things were going to be different from here on out! Terra was going to be happy! (Not that fake happy where she’d just smile and pretend everything was perfect, but the real happy where she laughed her butt off for hours at things that others didn’t find to funny.)
Looking around, Terra trying to find a place to take shelter. Where did hobos go when it rained like this? They had to have some of the best places to take cover. She scanned the people running with newspapers and jackets over their heads to try to find a hobo she could follow. None. They were probably already in their super secret places. She regretted not looking for one when it first started raining.
As she walked along, Terra decided she no longer cared that she was getting soak. A little rain wouldn’t hurt. She could handle it. Suddenly, she stopped in front of a mud-puddle when a random piece of paper was falling down into it. Thinking quick, she grabbed it before it hit the mud puddle. It was soaked. It looked like a grocery list. In fact, it was the grocery list the Titans’ always had. It was filled with the exact same foods they’d stalk the Tower with. How the heck did the list get way out here?
The girl’s bright blue eyes traveled away from the grocery list and to the green kid that was obviously chasing after it. Beast Boy. Of course, who else would drop such a thing? She figured he was in a rush and wasn’t paying enough attention to the list. Classic Beast Boy. As awesome as she thought Beast Boy was, she still had to admit to herself that he wasn’t all there in the head sometimes. Terra let out a laugh.
“Man, you’ve got to hold on to stuff better.”

[ooc: I’m really, really sorry! I had a stressful/hectic week and didn’t have much time to reply until now. Forgive me? The next reply shall be a whole lot quicker! And I also apologize for the bad post xP.]
The paper was falling, falling, falling, falling, not falling. Wait..what? Doing a double take, he realized that someone had grabbed it before it was too late. Yeah, Terra. “Terra!” was exclaimed happily, a big grin plastered across his face. He looked silly right about now, simply grinning away sans any talking. As sad as it may sound, it was normal for Beast Boy when it came to Terra. Just the sight of her made him smile. It always did and probably always will, despite a popular theory going around, stating how their last correspondence had changed his mind about her. In fact, said theory infuriated him. Why were people so blind, so ignorant? Sure, it had hurt him, but he wasn’t stupid. He understood why Terra did the things she did. She was insecure, troubled. She didn’t want to have to join the team and hurt her friends again. It was completely understandable and, instead of getting all angry and leaving her for something that truly wasn’t her fault, he should help her.
No, he would never abandon her—he’d already made that mistake before. Secretly, he blamed himself for it all: her joining Slade, betraying everyone, practically destroying the world. It wasn’t her fault. It was his. If it wasn’t for his stupid decisions, she would never have done any of it. If he’d stuck with her, tried to help her, she would still be the happy girl she used to be and he would never forgive himself for it. Sure, the first time she’d ran away, it wasn’t directly his fault, but he’d always felt like he could have prevented it somehow. He should have done something. Subconsciously, he feared making the same stupid mistakes again, forcing her to run away. This time, however, perhaps she would never return. Partially, this was why he easily forgave her for choosing not to rejoin the team the first time she was asked. It was half and half: half because he understood the reason behind her decision and half because he believed he deserved it. Really, why should she come back?
His grinning was cut short when she advised him to hold onto his belongings better. Say what? To say that he was embarrassed would be an understatement. Well, for Beast Boy anyways, considering the fact that he rarely ever got embarrassed and normally not for the same reasons others do. He could handle most situations fine. In fact, most circumstances others would consider embarrassing occurred to him approximately twenty times a day. When it was in front of Terra, however, it was a whole different story. He was always abnormally conscious around her. “Buh, buh, buh…” he stammered, trying to think of a good counter-argument. “…I still have the money?” It had come out more as a question than a statement. “Check it out!” And he fished-out some monopoly cash rather proudly. Yeah, monopoly. Clearly, however, he remained unaware of this fact. “So—uh—you wanna—maybe—help the new grocery dude get some food?” Cue the hopeful grin. Yeah, “grocery dude” was what he referred to the really cool person who got to buy the much needed ingredients every week. Guess who it was this time? HIM!! He didn’t think he’ll ever get to refer to himself as the one and only “grocery dude”.
