Please Read all the rules before posting anywhere on the site.
Roleplay Rules
1. All posts must be at least 150 words long. This way, you always have enough to reply to, and it's a good way to make sure we don't have any one-liners.
2. Please attempt to have as little spelling errors as you possibly can. There is a spell check button so please use it.
3. No god-moding what-so-ever. That means do not tell the other person what their character is doing for them.
4. Be fair when in a fight or an argument of any sort. Your character can not always win. Give the others a chance to win as well.
5. Sexual content is not allowed on site. Feel free to do so elsewhere but remember it is in no way affiliated to the site.
6. Swearing is allowed, just don't go over board on it.
7. When you are finished with a roleplay, please post "Finished" on the thread. This allows everyone to know that the roleplay has been completed for that thread or that the roleplay has moved elsewhere.
Out of Character C-Box Rules
1. Don't argue with another member in that chat box. You may have friendly debates and things like that, but if it turns into an argument, please take that argument to private messages. If it gets to out of hand and you are getting bullied or anything like that, please contact one of the staff members and let one of us know what's going on.
2. Do not advertise in the chat box. That's what we have the advertisement thread for.
3. When talking in the C-box, don't ignore any one trying to join your conversation. Our site is like a community: everyone is allowed to participate in every part of it.
In Character C-Box Rules
1. Arguing is allowed but remember it's a school-hosted instant messenger so keep the swearing and inappropriate conversations to a minimum.
2. Each members is to use a "screen name" for their character, which can be anything from Bird_boy to RachelRoth.
3. If a person's SN is not their name, and they have not told you their name while they (as well as you) were on, then you are to assume you do not know who that person is (even if you really do) unless it has been given to you/told to you in character in the roleplay forums or on the chat.
4. Do not post out of character here, there is a reason I have two boxes.
5. This is to be used as an instant messenger between students at the school, not as an entire roleplay.
Character Rules
1. Don't post an application for a character that has already been accepted when dealing with canons. If there is a pending application for a character you want, you are more then welcome to post another application for that character as well. The application that is done better will get accepted.
2. Original characters are welcome, obviously but for now we will only be accepted Civillian originals. Original heroes will not be accepted.
3. Only one character per account. If you want to make a second character, please create another account to do so.
4. After your application has been accepted, please change your display name to the name of your character. Also, please try to get an icon of your character. If you can't, then ask one of the staff members to get one for you in a private message, not in the C-box.
5. The password is Bite!Me!
6. Be courteous of the races I have created. I don't want to see any sparkling twilight!vampires, or shapeshifter twilight!werewolves. Remembering most witches on this site do not worship demons and sorcerers do not usually carry around wands. Things like that will get your character rejected.
Absent Rules
1. If you are going to be away for a large amount of time, please post a thread in the appropriate board letting everyone know that you are going to be gone and for how long.
2. You most post at least twice a week if you haven't posted an away thread. This way it keeps the site going and active. We encourage posting way more then that though if you can.
3. If you haven't posted in three weeks without an away thread, your account will be deleted.
Thread Rules
1. When you post in a thread outside the roleplay zones, stay on topic. It would be rude to who ever started the thread if you went off topic.
2. Please write at least a sentence, if not more when replying to a thread unless the thread is a game(or a roleplay in which the post must be 200 words or more anyways). Anything less probably wouldn't be worth posting anyways.
Courtesy Rules
1. Be nice to all the members. Everyone is here for the same reasons, so don't take away from another person's enjoyment.
2. If you are going to join a roleplay, make sure you are going to be able to keep up. If someone is constantly posting 500+ words do not come to them with the bare minimum. I understand post counts in a roleplay can decline after time, but it shouldn't go from 500 to 200 in one or two posts.
