"She sort of...Blasted her way into my life." She said vaguely. It was meant to sound metaphoricle, when quite honestly that was actually how it happened. "When Starfire wants to befriend someone, she definitely doesn't take no for an answer." Raven said. If this were another Titan she would probably tell the story about when the two of them switched bodies. That was really the moment when she accepted Starfire as her best friend. It was hard, that day, trying to use Starfire's abilities. She was sure it was difficult for the girl in her body that day too. It was sort of freeing, despite making her uncomfortable. She was jealous of the happy-go-lucky girl sometimes. She wasn't too much of a coward to admit it to herself, but she would never admit it to any of her friends.
"She was new in town and my friends and I prevented her from being bullied." She said. Truely, at the time her "friends" weren't quite friends yet. The bullies were aliens trying to take her to another planet. Those things were definitely not things she could tell the boy. After that they were a team, despite Robin wanting to go it alone at first. Even Boy Wonder needed some friends.
Even though she would never say it to the bird's face, she suspected he would have went crawling back to batman within a month if it hadn't been for their little team-turned-family. To her, this was the closest thing to a family she ever had and she was thankful for it. She hated to think what life would be like without them, and if what Star saw in the future was true, without the Titans she because a big mass of insanity. Though, she had been sure that without the Titans she would have succumbed to Trigon, though if one believed in the theories one would say there are thousands of different time dimensions. Every time someone made any sort of decision, another dimension opened up with the alternate them making the opposing decision, so one can never tell what dimension's choices lead to her becoming a nutcase hiding in a white room.

Star's head jerked back when her name was mentioned. Blinking, she thought. "Uhh.. Mm.. I, like to cook. Mainly I spend time with my friends.~" she stated with another deadly hug to Raven. She would have hugged Seth, but remembering the scene earlier, it may not be a good thing.. Plus, what if Raven liked him? That'd be horrible to do such a thing, she would feel like she was betraying Raven!
Star blinked silently when he said he'd like to know how they met. She had no excuse for that, she hated lying, so instead Raven spoke, thankfully. She stood to the side and smiled. She really was blasted.. And she was bullied from Trogar and the rest of his alien army. Her hands were close to glowing like her eyes from the anger she had towards those aliens, but remembered she was thankful to them, since if they had never taken her prisoner, she would never have met her friends. Folding her hands in front of her and resting her lips on them she smiled. She was grateful, feeling so lucky to have met everyone. It may have almost looked like she was praying, but she wasn't, seeing as how she didn't know what 'Christ' was.
Hugging Raven again, just not a death hug, she smiled. "And I am forever grateful to my friends for protecting me." She stated happily. Her friends were her world, the exact center of it too. She would never trade anything for it. There was nothing else in the world that could be good enough to trade it with, and honestly, she couldn't remember how she used to behave without her friends.

"Starfire?" Seth asked slightly confused, had he heard that right? Come to think of it hadn't Rachel mentioned the same name before in the conversation? In fact he was pretty sure she had. "Weird nickname but I can see where it might have come from, kinda....." Fire because the girl was a red head and Star because the girl was clearly not on Earth a lot of the time mentally? Hmm perhaps it wasn't that great a nickname after all. Perhaps it was best to move on from this, he could feel his headache starting up again and he really didn't want to be taking more medication so soon. "You like to cook?" Seth smirked looking past the girl to the site of previous explosions "does everything you make have such a dramatic conclusion?" Nodding softly to Raven he smiled "Bullies do need to be put in their place, though the way you two are acting I'm guessing theres more to this story than your letting on. Its cool, you guys just met me and I'm not expecting life stories just being curious." Grinning when Star hugged Rachel again "I think your boyfriend is going to need his own oxygen supply if you hug him as much as you do Rachel. Speaking of which do you you have a significant other?" Seth glanced at Raven curiously, granted he should have asked that before the coffee thing but it hadn't occurred to him till just then, plus he wanted to play it safe and not say boyfriend, Rachel might like other girls. Seth was pretty sure that happened now and again, read it somewhere perhaps.

Robin was going to kill her. Plain and simple. She would be murdered in her sleep and no one would ever know who it was because she was sure the boy would be able to do it as silently as he always did. She would be dead. Soooo irrevocably dead. Hell, he'd probably rifle through my things find a ressurrection spell just to kill her again. It was inevitable and she did not know how she managed to let it slip, not once but twice in coversation.
If he didn't kill her on purpose, he was sure to kill her via long amounts of lecturing. Of course, she could just not tell him, but that seemed like it might become more trouble than it is worth. If he found out through someone that wasn't her she was sure the death would be far more painful. She was so lucky this boy was from out of town and didn't put two and two together just yet. Maybe he would forget and not think anything og it later.
"Yea, one of our less than clever friends started calling her that and it sort of stuck." She admitted, lying but also not. She was sort of avoiding the technical lie. Technically her friends did start calling her that at the girl's request. It did indeed stick, but it wasn't exactly the whole truth. Lying was something she found tedious and if she could get around it she would. In this case it was pretty inevitable.
"Me plus dating equals failure on epic proportions." She told him, that was an understatement. She unleashed a fricken dragon onto the planet the last time she attempted to go on a date. Needless to say that was something she was a bit skittish about.

Star froze when her real name was called out by Seth. Oops. She didn't even catch it that time. She caught her breath silently and heart skipped a beat before picking up a nervous rate. Releasing Raven as he spoke of it like a nickname, she just smiled and rubbed her head. Good thing he wasn't actually figuring it out, but if he was to stay in this city there was no doubt he would. Hopefully he'd forget about it by then.
This was something that wasn't going to be mentioned to Robin, that was for sure. She didn't need him blowing up with anger nor did she need Raven in trouble, even if Raven just, probably didn't care either way, she just mostly ignored Robin when he lectured her. Raven was just, that way. She didn't mind if others were mad at her, or what others thought. She envied that aspect of Raven..
'Kori' couldn't help but pierce her lips to try and not laugh. When she said less than clever it made her think of her insults towards Beast Boy, at least the ones that somehow made their way to being humorous.
Star's laughter did stop at the next sentence. She felt bad for Raven now, remembering the whole thing with Malchior or Rorek whatever his name was. She really liked him and Star knew that but he turned out to be bad.. Raven was so upset afterward. She wanted to hug her, but she's given off plenty of hugs..

Seth nodded at the response about the nickname "I'll stick to Kori I think, Starfire is a bit of a mouthful to say." Not really sure why Kori started laughing Seth just smiled and kept listening to Rachel talk about how her and dating was a bad combo.
"Perhaps you've yet to meet the right guy?" Seth said softly, trying to sound optimistic about the situation. It must have been bad if it had caused Star to suddenly stop laughing and look sad. These two were up and down like yo-yo's it seemed. Probably a lot of history over the years but it seemed quite a lot of it was bad or at least in equal measure to the good. Which seemed odd to him, everything he had experienced in life was good. Kind loving parents, happy childhood and nothing but warm cheerful memories. The only bad things he could think of were those nightmares he had sometimes but his parents had already explained the bad dreams came from him sneaking a watch at a horror film that he really shouldn't have seen.
Looking back and forth at both girls he smiled "Now you both look unhappy, sorry if I said something I shouldn't have. I just like getting to know people better. Feel free to tell me to shush."

"It's.....nothing you said, just it brings up some bad memories that are better talked about when we aren't in the middle of class." Raven said, playing with the fringes of the tears in her jeans. She wasn't usually one to fiddle, but she needed something to give herself a good reason not to meet the boy's eyes, or more importantly Starfire's. She had been able to keep it under wraps how much the event really effected her. Really, it never came up again and she liked it that way.
Raven, she had issues. No one would refute that fact, she also preferred to deal with her issues on her own whenevrer possible. Over time, she has coem to realize that some issues have to be worked out with those you care about deeply, especially some of her issues. While pimples and popularity were the more the biggest problems most teenagers had, she had villians, a demon for a father who wanted to destroy the world, and monsters wanting to use her emotions for their own personal gain. Sometiems she wished she could be a normal teenager, but then she wouldn't have her real family and she did not know what she would do without them.
