Abilities: Raven chiefly employs powers which resemble psychokinesis. She accomplishes this, as described in the episode "Car Trouble", by putting a little piece of her soul into everything she animates. She occasionally chants "Azarath Metrion Zinthos" to focus her abilities, allowing her to perform much greater feats, but can move objects without reciting it; she also uses this phrase as a mantra while meditating. She also has the power of levitation.
Another of Raven's chief abilities is her "Soul-Self", which allows her to detach her soul from her body in the form of a dark-energy raven. This ability can be used to enter the minds of others, teleport herself and others great distances, pass through solid matter, and alter her own physical appearance (typically increasing her size). In addition to her regular powers, Raven has displayed a number of seldom-used abilities. She can heal herself and others (to an extent), sense specific people over short distances, stop time (done under duress and never repeated), and manifest her fears as monsters (also unintentional). She also occasionally employs magical spells. She keeps a library of books in her room on the occult, as well as a number of powerful mystical items. Raven's powers are tied to her emotions, becoming more powerful and unstable with the intensity of the emotions fueling them.
History: Raven is often giving sage advice to the others about various subjects, and generally stays calm even in desperate situations. She is also the most emotionally-restrained of the Titans, appearing secretive and distant; she initially does not allow any of her fellow Titans into her room and spends most of her time by herself, usually meditating or reading one of her numerous books. The reason for her emotional restraint is due to the adverse effects her emotions have on her powers, as demonstrated when she brutally attacked Doctor Light after being angered. However, she eventually warms up to her teammates and comes to see them as her family.
Raven tries to avoid her destiny of becoming the portal that will release Trigon into their dimension. However, with Slade having been empowered by Trigon and given an army of fire demons to command, Raven loses hope and resigns herself to her fate. Despite this, she leaves her teammates with a fraction of her power to protect them from Trigon's petrification blast when he emerges. As a result of becoming the portal, Raven regresses into a small child, and is rescued from the depths of Trigon's prison by Robin, amidst protests that she is now powerless and of no use to them. Robin and the other Titans decide to fight anyway, though they are ultimately incapable of defeating Trigon. Their efforts convince Raven to step out of her father's shadow, and she vaporizes Trigon with a pure-white version of her Soul-Self, returning the world to normal. She returns to using her more recognizable dark energy.
Raven is noticeably different because she is no longer living in her father's shadow, she starts to become more open. While she does retain some of her old personality such as not laughing at Beast Boy's jokes and still acting mysterious, she does act more friendly and at least tries to say nice things (where as before she would just blow off things in a sarcastic way). She even babysits three children and even starts to really care for them.
Raven's only definitive romantic interests were with the dragon Malchior which ended at the end of the episode when it was revealed that he was simply using her to escape from the confines of the book he was trapped within, and showing attraction towards Aqualad, an emotion shared by Starfire.
Starfire travels to the future via an artifact in a museum. During her attempt to find the artifact and return home, Raven is seen in her second incarnation, wearing the white robe.

Dreams: To one day be able to let herself feel without fear, and to be sure her father will never come back
Personality: Raven is the most stoic member of the group. She tends to supress her emotions. She can often times be cruel and sarastic, but she cares for her friends deeply. She would do anything for her friends.
Certain emotions she lets out more than others. She is very tentative with emotions like Love, and she tries not to let herself feel it, especially after Malchior. Although she would never admit it, she does have feelings for her leader. Going to hell and back is bound to make a girl's head turn. She would never act on this, she would not want to hurt Starfire's feelings.

Addie was restless in the Slytherin common late this night. Most everyone worth speaking to had already turned in, needing to be ready for classes in the morning. Adonenniel, however, was a bit of an insomniac. She knew it, her brother knew it, even her parents knew it. Her dad bought her the best sleeping draught money could buy, yet she didn't take it. It always made her a little nauseous, which tended not to condone sleeping. She tried getting a different one from the nurse but she was allergic to the one she kept on hand. It was really a lose, lose situation. She looked around the common, hoping to find someone, anyone to talk to. It was useless, the only people left up were a bunch of idiot boys crowding around a game of wizards chess. It was good that it was nearly impossible to cheat at the game, otherwise it would have probably turned into a bloody brawl in the common. Slytherins weren't known for their trustworthiness, but everyone knows that.
Addie stood from her position on the dark leather couch, no longer content to sit and watch the fire dance in the fireplace, and the night was too dark to see through the water of the window. There were perks to having a common room under water, it gave someone something to stare at when she did not feel like upholding a conversation. She was happy no one followed when she exited into the halls, she had earlier decided that if she was going to be awake she should probably get ahead in her homework. She had an essay due in History of Magic in a week, it was on the founders of Hogwarts. She hated the class with a passion, the teacher was dull and in no way made the subject interesting for his students. That didn't mean she didn't need to pass the class with top marks. Her father would expect nothing less. She always had to be the best, the brightest, not only for her father but for herself. She knew it was probably bad to expect so much of yourself but she didn't really care. All she knew is she wanted to be on top. She wanted to have power and be in control. She would not follow orders for the rest of her life, it wasn't in her nature. She was a leader, she would be the best, not some lackie that is good only for being used.
As she made her way up the stairs, to the third floor, she entered the library, her long blonde hair swishing behin her. She had the sides pulled back and it was flipped up in a semi-bun, letting the ends flow out like spikes. The rest of her hair was pulled in front over her shoulders. She had magiced streaks in her hair to be green, and she was wearing a beige slightly see-through top, with a deep green bra underneath, as well as a beige and green tutu with shiny green leggings underneath. She also had on a pair of 6 inch stack heals, making her just barely 5'4 into nearly 5'10.
The rhythmic clack of her feet must have tipped off another library-goer of her presence, because Addie heard the shuffle of books. She knew it was probably to reach for their wand, Addie followed the noise, curious as to who was in the library with her. She absentmindedly wondered who it was, praying it wasn't a prefect or head girl, she didn't need to get points docked right now. The voice didn't sound familiar, however, so it might not be a prefect and it definitely wasn't the head girl. She would know that voice anywhere, although she was not personally familiar with all of the prefects, so it could still be one. She walked past the many shelves hoping to find the one her peer was in. They were all lined with dusty books, but she finally found one with a girl sitting in it. She racked her mind for the name, and it came, Ariana Krum, half-blood sixth year. Addie laughed at the threat passed through the other girl's lips.
"Sweetheart, you couldn't send me to St. Mungo's if you hexed me thirty times." She sneered, knowing the girl probably would not win in a proper duel against her anyways. "Shield charms are quite useful, especially when you don't have to cast them at a moment's notice,"
She picked the silver and green necklace off of her warm skin, to show the other girl the Malfoy family crest. It was magiced to hold the shield, and it was the best her father could buy her. After the incident in her first year he couldn't be more careful about her safety. She sighed to herself, she had been hoping to find the library empty, as it should be this time of night. It would have prevented any uncalled for arguments.
