"Boring!"
Ugh! Jinx was getting so annoyed as she flipped through the movies in the drama section of Jump Movie Rentals. Every movie she shifted through she'd either seen or wouldn't dare to watch it. Ah, life was getting so lame. There was never anything to do. She couldn't even watch a decent movie she hadn't already seen. She'd been through every other section already. She was getting so sick of having such bad luck all the time. Jinx felt so cursed. Nothing ever seemed to go the way she wanted it to.
"Whatever," Jinx said in a snobby voice to herself.
Picking up another movie, she began to read that back. Being fed up with trying to find a cool title, Jinx was going to go for the boring ones. This one was about a nurse who's child was in a coma. Apparently the dad beat the wife and then the kid. She assumed he was the reason for the child being in a coma. Judging by the pictures on the back of the movie near the description, she also assumed the dad commits suicide in the movie. How lame. There had to be something better then this out of all the boring movies here.
Jinx put back the lame coma movie and picked out another one with a stupid title as she began to read that back of it.

It was simple. Befriend a Titan. Kill, the Titan.
Arisu sighed. Yeah, easy for him to say. [Easy for you to say, you're not the one that has to go through this..] (in Japanese..) She though to herself. How was she going to find a Titan? She didn't even know what they looked like! Let lone has she ever met one. She had to deal with the lowly police. Who were these 'Titans' anyway? Her master better hope they were worth her time.
Despite her dislike, she wore civilan clothing. A tight shirt that was white and small sleeves, black pants. Then she flinched when a loud ring rang in her ears. It was the little chip that would connect her to her master. (or sensei) She pressed her finger on the button. "Anata wa nani o shimasu ka?!" She snapped. (what do you want) ">A Titan, pink hair in the video store. Go."< He directed, in her native tongue of course. She blinked and rolled her eyes, hanging up on him. At least she had an idea now.
Walking into the store, she made sure quickly she had no weapons due to the security, plus she was to make 'friends' with the girl. Weapons would just, not be good. Now Arisu never watched much TV if at all, but she knew a good movie when she saw one. Er, well, she didn't watch movies, it was just a knack that she had. Or so she guessed, she didn't know. Walking over by the girl, she glanced over her shoulder to see what she was looking at. Drama. Um, ew. She shook her head, but grabbed one and tapped on the girl's shoulder. It was called Perkins14. It was supposed to be a horror film, but her master said that when he watched it with one of his dates she cried due to how sad it was, and that was what drama was, right?
He said that the movie was about a cop who had his son abducted and was a cop but never found the guy until ten years later, killed the guy, but all the children were alive and loose and were really screwed up due to all the drugs they were injected with and one of them was the guys son. At least she thought it sounded like a good movie.
Arisu grabbed the one the one the girl held and replaced it with hers probably before she could turn around due to the tap she gave her. She would have said something, but she wasn't good at speaking Enlish. She understood it, just, not good at speaking it..

A tap, a snatch, and a replacement video in her hand was all it took to make Jinx turn around at a rapid speed. She glanced over the girl and took in her nationality and ridiculously boring outfit right away. Who did this girl think she was? No one in their right mind would ever come up to the sorceress of bad luck and do such a careless, risky thing. Maybe this girl was on crack? Whatever. Didn't really matter. Jinx was popular with a snippy tongue. She could put anyone in their place if given the right opportunity.
"Did you look in the mirror before going outside today?" Jinx smirked and gave out a short laugh. "Your outfit is so last year."
Jinx was wearing the evil, half grin that she was famous for. She didn't appreciate it when people rudely took things from her. Shaking her head at the girl, Jinx quickly looked down at the movie in her hands. She looked up at the female once again with a thoughtful look instead of mischievous smile. It actually looked like something worth watching. The title looked lame, but the picture intrigued her. She flipped over the case and began reading the description on the back. Not bad, she had to admit. Although parts of it seemed lame, the description had it's moments.
"Okay, so what made you want to share this killer find with me?"
The keeper of bad luck wondered if this girl wanted something out of her. It wasn't like people to just be friendly out of their own good hearts to someone with outrageous pink hair and killer fashion.

Drugs wasn't exactly in Arisu's blood or interest, she just had no fear of the girl, nor did she really know what the gil could do, bu still, wouldn't be scared. She was trained never to feel fear, and all of that paid off. She was scared of nothing. Least of all, the Titans.
Ignoring her comment about fashion since she really didn't care, she looked to the side. How to act normal.. she didn't want to give herself away or anything, that was the last thing she wanted. At least for right now. Otherwise she didn't care. There was a lot she didn't care for. What was there to care for? She was a product, built to kill and she grew to accept that.
Glancing back to the pink haired teenager, she blinked and shrugged. "Felt like it.." Arisu said in soft english, a bit cautios and slow since, she couldn't speak it too well. "You seemed to have, taste in discs.." She spoke again, wanting to bite her tongue for saying something, nice... She managed to refrain herself from a shudder. Well, maybe she could learn a thing or two from this.

Wow, this girl really needed to learn how to speak English better. Even with her trying to cover it up, Jinx could still tell. To top it all off, she seemed like she was trying to be cool with her felt-like-it attitude. Well, in Jinx's opinion, she was trying way to hard. She definitely wasn't as cool or half as popular as Jinx. She was probably one of those lame losers who sat in the library all day. Jinx was totally the opposite. With how popular she was at H.I.D.E. academy, it was easy as pie to rule such a normal, plain high school. Popularity was her specialty. Well, it came second to bad-luck. Still, it was the only specialty she cared to specify to herself.
"I have taste in everything," Jinx responded, being cockier then she meant to be.
Jinx held onto the movie despite the fact that she wasn't sure if she liked this girl or not. A good find wasn't something she'd be willing to give up just because someone who might or might not be lame handed it to her. Good movies didn't come around often anymore.

Arisu honestly didn't care what she sounded like. First, she was horrible at English, that was a given fact mentioned many times! Second, she wasn't going to say 'hey I gave it to you because I want to be your friend who later kills you.' That would lead into mass destruction of the video store, which is not a good thing, at least for the business people. She wasn't completely cold where she walked into a room and a cold draft wafted into the room. Yet..
Arisu raised an eyebrow at the girl when she spoke. A little conceited, are we? Since she had her back to the girl, she rested her palm on her forehead, eyes closed with annoyance. Could she really try to befriend a girl like this?? She'd have to try, even if it killed her. Literally.
Removing her palm from her forehead, she turned to look at the girl again. Arisu just merely gave her a nod, hair tilting a bit as she did so. She was silent for a few minutes, trying to think of something, polite and nice to say. The girl seemed arrogant, so compliments, maybe? She'd bite her tongue through later, even if that was an old Japanese way of suicide. She rubbed the back of her head slightly. "I, like, your hair style.. You do it yourself..?" She asked, forming the best way of the sentence she could. Honestly she just remembered some girl at school saying it to another.

Jinx raised an eyebrow at the girl. Of course she liked her hair. It was outrageous and a daring fashion. No one had the guts to pull it off, but everyone wanted it. What was with the random compliment though? Was this girl trying to be her friend or something? Jinx smirked. Of course she was. Everyone wanted to be her friend if they wanted to be popular. She was just another girl after her for her social status. Nothing ever changed around here.
"Okay? Thanks? I guess."
Not looking at the girl with that sarcastic apology, Jinx's eyes traveled to some random movie posters on the walls. She was itching to get this whole lame conversation over with. This girl was never going to be one of the cool kids. Unless.... Jinx suddenly got an idea. What if she used this girl to end her boredom? She could change around her style, spice her up a little bit. Then she could rip her away by taking away everything she'd give her. That'd be a movie in it's own. She had to go with it.
"Yeah... I do it myself. How would you like a make over?"
Jinx gave her a fake, friendly smile that still looked a little mischievous. This was going to be fun.

Arisu looked at her, then looked away. This was going to be more difficult than she thought. Much more. The pink-haired girl was quickly managing to get under her skin. Still she had a vibe from the girl that sensed that she didn't believe her. The style really wasn't bad, she just wasn't a fan of the color. she leaned against the movie rack and crossed her arms.
"I am not here for the status of popularity. That is the last thing I want, trust me. It is absolutely meaningless arguments that pins other humans against one another. I just wanted to talk but if I am getting on your nerves I can just leave. Not to impose." She stated, managing to keep all annoyance out of her tone, but did speak honestly. She hated people who wanted nothing but popularity and this girl seemed like one of them.
The distrusting vibe formed into mischief, something Arisu didn't want to trust. "Not one for make-overs. You may not like my style, but I could care less. I am Arisu Daisuke, moved her recently.. Can I know your name at least?" She asked. If she were to kill the Titans she would definitely be one she would have fun with.

"If you must know, I'm Jinx. And I seriously think you've over stepped your boundaries. You see, I have powers, and my powers aren't very nice. I control bad luck, and if you don't go away quickly, your going to be cursed with it. I can knock you down in an instant. I'm not just a normal girl. I'm your worst fear."
Jinx now had her angry smile on that still managed to look just like her normal, evil half smile. It was the direction her lips seemed to love to return to. Just because she wasn't evil anymore didn't mean she couldn't make threats to girls who got to far into her bubble space. Jinx was so, so very sick of people like her. Just because she said she wasn't after popularity didn't mean she couldn't lie.
"Now would be a good time to move back to where you came from."
A small, pink spark lit up in Jinx's hand, barely noticeable.

Arisu lifted an eyebrow at her as she spoke. Arisu placed an arm over her stomach, head down. She then started laughing. The ninja, did. Not. Laugh. Arisu was laughing. She pressed the button on the small machine in her ear that hooked her up to her master. "Hai, Kono Shippai. Watashi wa ima watashi no yarikata o yatte iru." Arisu told him as she removed her finger, disconnecting them. ((Words: Yes, this failed. I'm doing it my way now.))
When she was finished laughing, she looked at Jinx. "I'm not scared of you. I know you have powers, after all you're apart of the so-called 'Titans'. Or one of them. I also know you used to go to the H.I.V.E academy. What on Earth made you change? You're on the goodie-two-shoes side. That's pathetic.. don't tell me you fell in, love with one of them?" She asked, having trouble getting the 'L' word out. She hated that word, and it was pathetic. Love seemed to be the thing that dragged many people over to different sides. Just because she was Japanese and new to America didn't mean she didn't keep up with her homework. She just couldn't remember all their names..
Normally she would have continued to try the weak act she put on before but she was getting rather annoyed with Jinx. "Mm.. Nah, I think I like it here in America. Plus I'm not welcome into Japan anymore." She smirked just as evil as Jinx did before she flipped onto the top of the movie rack's thin railing. "You're not the only one that poses a threat." She stated. She wouldn't attack, not until self-defense had to be initiated.

She knew it! This was a trap. The girl only wanted at her because she was a Titan. Ugh, how she hated this crap. Everyone seemed to assume she'd be easy to get just because she use to be evil. Well new to the world, this bad-luck holder wasn't that stupid. Clicking on her Titan communicator behind her back, she left it on, not knowing which Titan she called, letting them hear the conversation. This way she might end up with some back up-not that she really needed it.
Jinx flinched as she heard the word love out of this crazy lunatic. That was none of her business. She spent way too much time learning about Jinx's personal life. That was something Jinx really didn't appreciate.
"You know, snooping isn't a good habit to have. How much do you know about the rest of the Titans?" Jinx asked, knowing her communicator was on and hoping someone was listening. "I will have to kick your butt. You won't get away until you tell me what you know and who you're working for."

Robin was out on patrol when his communicator started beeping, switching it on he caught the tale end of the conversation and started running as he homed in on Jynx's comm. This was good, Jynx was accepting she was part of something bigger and not trying to prove herself as much. Secretly pleased with her progress as he dropped down in front of the video store. It didn't take him long to access the situation and prepare a plan to deal with the female threat. Not someone he recognized but that didn't matter, Robin had been trained to deal with unknown foes, it just took a little longer than usual.
Flicking out a Birdarang into his hand he kicked open the door and sent it flying at the ninja girl "I advise you stop whatever your doing right now and surrender. When you deal with a Teen Titan you have to take us all on." Now inside the store he leaped at the girl with his staff, it wasn't meant to her just get him beside Jynx so they could work on a co-ordinated attack. "You ok Jynx?" Robin held his staff up and toward the enemy, if Jynx was hurt in some way then it could change things.

Arisu watched her flinch. "Take it I hit a bulls eye? Tsk Tsk, how shameful." She said as she walked across the rack she stood on."In Japan within the clans, that's considered betrayal. If I were to do that, do you know what m, punishment would be?" She asked as she looked back at the pink-eyed girl. She smirked. "Death. Not just because if I were to betray and enrage them, but because I could be a threat. I could tell them everything I know, weaknesses, hide-outs, fighting styles, etc." She explained even if the girl didn't care.
Blinking, Arisu slid down from the rack. "But Jinx, you think you should know that snooping is what I do best." She said with a tilt of her head. Then shook her head. "You're being hypocritical, you tell me not to snoop when you go and do the same thing." Stated Arisu before she refrained from laughing. "Let's see you try." Challenged the girl.
Arisu looked to the side with a bored expression when the door opened. More like kicked open but it still opened. She watched a a boy with tight clothing that was Red and Green threw something at her and spoke. She just moved to the side. "Throwing toys isn't very nice.." She watched the one with the black hair flip on a pole and land beside the pink-head. She huffed a sigh. "Well that was rude, I haven't even attacked yet, we were just talking." Maybe Arisu knew more English than she thought..
