Wally was running, well to him it was crawling along on all hands and feet but to everyone else it would be a pretty decent sprint. This was horrible, not only did he have to go to school but he had to pretend to be normal. Normal for Kid Flash was to run across the ocean to get fish and chips from a nice place in Scotland and then a quick jog across the Wall of China not walking everywhere and doing everything at a speed that could only be described as tar like and no costume. That was just horrible, he looked great in costume, chicks digged the uniform but then again he was Wally West, Kid Flash and nothing could stop him from being a stud.
With a grin he stopped and looked about seemed that either he was really early or late, didn't seemed anyone else was about. With a hop he had circled the building twice and felt so much better. Taking out a chocolate bar he began to crunch down on it. The red headed teen was supposed to be meeting Jynx before class started, with a gulp Wally frowned, what if he had missed her he would be in trouble then. One thing you really didn't want to do was upset your girlfriend even more so one that can give you bad luck. The amount of scuffed knees from the times she'd tripped him up for flirting with a girl or just being stupid was rather numerous but he hoped, at least he had that, that now they were a couple she would ease up on that. The girl might be insanely cute but a guy can only take so many face plants.

"Great. Just great!"
Jinx was way more irritated then usual. Again, she was running late. It wasn't like she was going to be late for class or anything though, she was just going to be late for her flirty boyfriend. She wasn't even totally sure why she was bothering to rush so much. Who cares if he was kept waiting? What would be the big deal. Who cares if he'd be a little angry with her. Still, even with all those thoughts, the acrobatic witch was still rushing herself.
Looking all over the floor for them, Jinx managed to find her purple and black stocking and pulled them up over her pale legs. She wore a lot of the same types of outfits. She knew exactly what was in style, and she wasn't going to let herself be out of it for even a day. Moving a few unicorn drawings off of her floor so she didn't step on them, Jinx looked for her boots. She found them underneath her bed but had no idea how they got there. She blamed it on pure bad luck
It made no sense to her why they couldn't just go to school together. They both lived in the same tower. They were both members of Titan's South. Maybe he just wasn't willing to walk a little slower for her. That was so typical of men. Not wanting to slow down for women... It was immature if you asked Jinx. Whatever, it didn't really matter. Jinx flipped her backpack over her shoulder and walked out the door.
After an annoying walk, she finally managed to get to school. Kid Flash was at the main entrance. She thought about walking right past him, simply because she was in a bad mood but decided against it. Rolling her eyes in annoyance at life, she walked over to Wally, the boy that was usually hidden behind the mask.
"I'm so thirty. Got anything to drink?"
Good morning seemed a pointless greeting to her at the moment.

"Heeeeeeeeey Hot Stuff" Wally grinned and wiggled his eyebrows playfully "Thought I had missed you already." As he spoke the teen had a hand inside his bag trying to find the bottle of sports drink he always carried. Removing it he grinned "Course I do, think its cherry flavor. If its not cherry flavor then its apple." Tilting the bottle from side to side in the sun light he eventually gave up and shrugged. The bottle was red and trying to see what the liquid was inside was next to impossible. Offering her the bottle he smiled "Really did think I had been late and you were inside already. As usual you bring me good luck and I'm not."
Turning to look at the school building he frowned "Not really looking forward to this, after I got my powers I thought having to go here was a thing of the past. Got to be a step up from Evil Academy right?" Wally smiled at Jinx, least he was going back to school with a hot girlfriend. It didn't take him long to work his thoughts to Jinx joining the Cheerleaders which caused his eyes to glass over as he started to think about the uniform. Blinking the thoughts away he grinned "So with your acrobatic background and style have you thought about joining the cheerleaders here?" The teen did have other reasons for Jynx joining the cheer squad, it would be a good outlet for her sarcasm and her love of being popular too. The outfit was just a bonus.

Jinx frowned as Flash tried to figure out what was in the bottle. She didn't really feel safe drinking whatever was in it. If he couldn't even remember what kind of liquid he brought to school then it must be really old. For all he knew, it could be poisonous. Just lovely. Unhappily taking the bottle, Jinx drank it as she feared for her life.
"It's apple," Jinx announced, finally feeling at ease about the beverage.
The whole good luck statement kind of made Jinx feel good in an odd way. She knew it wasn't true, but the little white lie made her a little happier. He was probably missing something great, because he had been waiting for her. Later he'd find out about it, and be really unhappy. It was just the way things usually played out when she was around.
"Cheerleader?" Jinx let out a laugh. "It'd be a waste of my taste in fashion to be wearing the same outfit as the other girls' all the time, don't ya' think? I don't want to deprive anyone of my good outfits."
Although Jinx didn't wanted to admit it, cheer leading was something that interested her. She was just afraid that if she joined the team, the whole squad would end up with broken bones due to bad luck by the end of football season. It'd be a disaster.

"Surely it would help them out if you shared your style with them?" Wally smiled and folded his hands behind his head as he often did when he was at ease "you could even go so far as to say you were helping them out. I guess I just can't see you hiding in a corner some place. Your amazing and the world should see that I reckon"
Leaning back to take a look at the whole building better he sighed "I'm going to have to 'walk' all the time now" his tone on walk was like someone saying they had just had their legs removed "Ooh" with that he was gone in a blur. Wally could be the most random of people but it wasn't so much random as it was that his thoughts moved quickly and in different ways to most people. Currently he was running his way along the coast as it had dawned on him that he really should have picked something up for Jinx on her first day at school. Kid Flash came to a stop in London and after a brief exchange was running back to the school only stopping briefly to pick up a shell that had caught his eye as he whooshed past. Now back beside Jinx he grinned, he'd been gone hardly any time at all and how he held out a sparkly union jack badge and a shell he had picked up at the beach "Here, for your first day at high school. Something to celebrate, don't you think?"

"How would I be sharing my style if we were all dressing exactly the same?"
Oh, how monotonous that would be. Lame. She wasn't a fan of lame. They'd all look like crackers in a box. She needed to take the lead on everything. Although she wanted to be a cheerleader, she didn't want to blend in THAT much.
Jinx looked down at the gifts Flash presented her with. A badge and a shell. She wasn't exactly sure what to say, but she was glad he thought of her at least. Thoughtful guys always got points unless they looked like Aqualad. Then it seemed you didn't have to do anything but breathe to get points.
"Thanks, did you just run and get this now?" Jinx joked with a laugh.
This was going to be a long day. She wasn't even sure she wanted to go. If it wasn't a requirement, she'd never be here.

"Uh, yeah. Its your first day. I just realised that I should have picked you up something and hadn't and then I figured the something from England might be kinda cool. That way theres no chance of anyone else having one." Wally smiled though if he knew she thought so highly of Aqualad he probably would be frowning about now. That guy got all the girls drooling even though he stank of fish and dated weird fish ladies. Not like Wally who was all sorts of awesome, clearly.
"The shell just caught my eye as I was running back, that at least was a random thing. " Shrugging lightly he smiled again "I wasn't thinking you'd be in uniform all the time. You have way to much style for that, was just thinking that they would all come to you for hair tips or fashion advice. You know girl stuff that girls talk about to each other."
Not to mention Jynx would get to socialise and stop worrying about fitting in so much, and hopefully shake her out that gloomy no one would ever like her vibe she had herself trapped in still. "As much as it pains me I'm going to have to share you with the world now and again, your someone whos incredibly special and everyone deserves to see that."

Jinx made a little bit of a shocked expression, but it went away quick. Nothing surprised her for more then a second anymore. She was used to everything since the Titan's were filled with remarkable teenagers. Sighing, Jinx took another drink.
A smile played its self across Jinx's lips when Flash talked about having to share her. It was just another sentence by someone else that reminded her of how popular she was. Comments like that are what fed her coincided mind.
"What's your first class?" Jinx asked, in a way that implied she was starting to get bored.
No one ever brought up school except out of boredom. Why would they? School was horrible, and no one really liked it. The only thing Jinx liked about it was that everybody at school always liked her. Other then that, there was no reason to even think about school.

Watching the different expressions cross Jynx's face Kid Flash couldn't help but feel a ting of annoyance. Sure she was an ex-villain but he had hoped that with the time and effort the others had been making that the pink haired girl would start to drop the arrogant and egocentric attitude but seemed like it wasn't sinking in at all. The teen had just got her a present and the best he got from her was a slight smile which was discarded for what appeared to be boredom. In fact since she had shown up the girl hadn't really seemed that bothered by anything unless it was about her, Wally was trying really hard to get through to her and had been since the time they had first met. He could see the person inside that she could be, that she was at times but it looked like habits where hard to shake.
"Chemistry" Wally said with a shrug, it was his favorite subject and something he was really good at though most people didn't take him for being intelligent due to how distracted he could get or his happy go lucky attitude. Though right now it wasn't feeling so care free, he was having serious doubts about Jynx and his relationship.
